Painty pleasures

Pozdravljene ustvarjalke, upam, da ste se rešile iz ledenega objema! Čas je za nov izziv pri Country View Challenges in tokrat ponosno sodelujem kot gostja – »guest  designer«…Mesečni izziv je "Painty pleasures" – naredite lahko karkoli kar (očitno) vključuje barvo, barvanje.....
Tokrat sem se odločila postarati lesen okvir in narediti stenski okras…všeč mi je kako lahko samo z barvami pričaraš starinski videz na novi stvari….Uporabila sam kar nekaj barv in drugih medijev, za več podrobnosti je tukaj hiter pregled po korakih:

Hello dear crafters! It is another challenge at Country View Challenges and I am thrilled to be their guest designer. This month challenge is “Painty pleasures” - your projects can be anything you'd like to make as long as there is a strong or base theme of paint....

I decide to alter wooden frame and make a nice old looking wall decor...I love how you can get that old or aged look in a "new" item with just paint...I used different paints and other media, for more details is here a quick run through the steps:

 

1 . Okvir sem pobarvala z belo akrilno barvo, ko se je barva posušila, sem naredila nekaj prask in jih poudarila z rjavo akrilno barvo in StazOn inkom.
2 . Z Distress crackle barvo sem premazala platno (tanjša osnova) in pustila, da se posuši. Da so razpoke prišle do izraza sem uporabila disstres inke – Vintage photo in Walnut stain.

3 . Karton sem poštempljala s Timovo Subway štampiljko in z Vintage photo inkom pobarvala ozadje.
4 . Dodala sem  čipko in trak (ja brez čipke pri meni skoraj ne gre).
5 . iz Utee-ja sem naredila srce, ga pobarvala s črno Distress crackle barvo (moja je bila skoraj suha, tako da razpoke niso zelo očitne , vendar sem vseeno dobila lepo teksturo ). Ko se je posušilo sem dodala malo belega Gessa in Red Pepper alkoholni ink, da sem dobila rdečo barvo.

6 . Timov mali okvir sem pobarvala s Picket Fence barvo in uporabila še Disstres inke – Vintage photo in Walnut stain, da sem dobila starinski – patina videz.
7 . Srce sem z vročim lepilom prilepila na okvir, vse skupaj pa na podlago.
8 . Mali tagec sem izrezala s Sizzix šablono in odtisnila številko. Robove sem postarala in dodala dimenzijo z Utee-jem. 
10 . Sponke s črkami sem prilepila na »razpokano« osnovo in na njih dodala še karton.  

11 . S pisalnim strojem sem natipkala tekst in ga prilepila na »ročaj za predalnik«,ki sem ga pritrdila na karton. Za 3D učinek sem zopet uporabila Utee, lahko pa uporabite tudi prozoren embossing prah.

12 . Vse skupaj sem vstavila v okvir in ….končano!

1. Paint the frame with white acrylic paint and after drying make some starches and distress with brown acrylic paint and StazOn Timber brown.
2. Use Distress crackle paint on canvas and let it dry. Use distress ink-Vintage photo and Walnut stain to bring crackles out.
3. Stamp a piece of cardstock with Tim`s Subway stamp and distress with Vintage photo.
4. Add some lace and ribbon to the cardstock.
5. Make heart from Utee, paint it with black Distress crackle paint (mine was almost dry, so crackles are not so obvious, but I still got great textured look). After drying I use a bit of Gesso and Red Pepper Alcohol ink to paint the heart in red (heart it suppose to be red, isn’t it)
6. Paint Tim`s frame with Picket Fence distress stain and after drying use Distress ink - Vintage photo and Walnut stain to get that old patina look.
7. Glue heart on the frame.
8. Cut a little tag with Sizzix die and stamp number on it. Distress the edges and add dimension with Utee.
9. Attach the tag and little heart to the key.
10. Glue typewriter keys to the background and glue stamped cardboard to the top.
11. Add drawer handle and type words with typewriter. For dimension use Utee or just a clear embossing powder.
12. Attach everything to the frame and.....done!
