Moja
najnovejšo knjigico sem poimenovala Knjiga življenja. Je res majcena, 8 cm x 10,
5 cm, in jo lahko uporabite za ideje, verze ali morda za dnevnik.
Platnice so narejene iz kartona, pobarvane z akrili in za videz usnja sem dodala »tissue« papir. Poštempljala in embossirala sem kotke in zadnjo stran. Za fokus sem izbrala »broken Charllote« figurico, ostanke blaga, čipko, embossiran karton in ključavnico, izrezano s Sizzix šablono. Knjiga je napolnjena z ostanki papirja in ročno zvezana.

prijavljam na Simon says stamp and show , izziv Ever after. Navdihnile so me
pravljične čarovnice in njihove knjige urokov..... Se še spomniš Sneguljčice? Prav
predstavljam si zlobno kraljico, ki išče urok za zastrupljeno jabolko. Ali pa čarovnica
v Janko in Metka, ki išče recept kako skuhati otoka....
Prav tako prijavljam knjigico na Eclectic paperie, Altered Books izziv. Ta blog sem našla pred kratkim in to je moja prva prijava na njihov izziv. Blog se splača pogledat, se najde kar nekaj inspiracije!

My newest book is called The book of life. This is
small book 8 cm x 10, 5 cm, and you can use it for ideas, quotes or maybe for journaling.
Book covers are made from cardboard, coloured with
acrylic and for leather look I added tissue paper. After that I stamped and
embossed corner and compass stamps. For centrepiece I used broken Charlotte
doll, scraps of fabrics, lace, embossed cardboard and key hole cut out with
Sizzix die. Book is filled with paper leftovers and hand binded.
I am entering my book into Simon says stamp and showchallenge Ever after.I was inspired by fairytales witches and their spell books…..Do
you remember queen in Snow white? I imagine her looking for poison apple spell.
Or maybe witch in Hansel and Gretel who is looking for child cooking recipe....
I also like to enter my book into Eclectic paperie, AlteredBooks challenge. I just found this blog and it’s my very first participation in

Še ena krasotica s starinskim in malo spiritualnim videzom. Zanimivo kako si skombinirala jeans in pozlato, deluje prav lepo. Že zadnjič sem razmišljala in mi je še vedno uganka, kako povežeš liste med seboj in kako vse skupaj povežeš v knjigico.
Neverjetna si...knjigica zgleda res kot čarovniški priročnik poln urokov. In kako enkratno ti uspe vse to sestaviti. Mene tudi firbec matra kako spraviš knjigo skupaj. :))

What a work of art, so beautiful with the embossing.
This is super it is so inspirational when you can make a "new" item look hundreds of years "old" with great details... a true piece of artwork :-)
So you are into book-binding now, Ana! LOVE IT! I want to do that someday too (I LOVE books....well, being a taught (school) librarian this may be no big surprise *gg).
Your books are just brilliant! Not only the covers but your combining of textures and worn pages design! Will have to do my best to get at least somewhere near that level...;)
