-------------------------------------------------------
Hello friends....today I would like to share a project made for PaperArtsy challenge, Fragile papers...it’s pretty funny how I started with this...one night I bring out my “new” (it’s quite old, but still not used) fish stamp (MN101) and tried to make something with it...unsuccessful, no right mojo....next morning full moon woke me around 3:00 and after morning ritual I went to visit blogland...I saw PaperArtsy new post...photo inspiration for Fragile papers challenge works very well and I immediately knew how to use beautiful fish stamp....I started with my little experiment....
------------------------------------------
...First I used white Gesso and cover the cardstock. While Gesso was still wet I sprinkled some white embossing powder and dried with heat gun. I still wasn't happy with texture, so I crumbled egg shell and glue it with Mod Podge. I coated everything with white Gesso, again and let dry....
...in
between I took a piece of cardboard and cover it with old dictionary page. I
use my beautiful fish stamp and stamped on coffee dyed tissue paper. I covered
cardboard with hot wax, added tissue paper and covered with another layer of
hot wax. When everything was cold, I cut the piece in three parts, distressed
the edges and added some red splatters....
....Then
back to my base...Gesso was dry and I rounded egg shell pieces with pencil. I
added tissue paper (coffee dyed), bandage, thread and "fish pieces" on the top.
For final touch I cut some wood and made a frame..... What you think?
I am sure
that inspiration for this piece also came from great tutorial here.
Hvala za obisk!
Thank you for visiting!

Kako se mi zdi? Čisto odbito in nekaj najbolj "hudega", kar sem videla zadnje čase.
Simply beautiful! Love the waxy finish on your stunning fish!
Ana, I think it is so very beautiful,- love the eggshells you circled with pensil, and the wax gives a beautiful glow, and fragile feeling to the fish stamp !

This is a sublime creation and so inspirational.
Clever use of the fish stamp and I absolutely love your use of the broken egg shells. Maybe I will try this idea because the texture is so beautiful, fragile but also great strength.
It is wonderful to read that the PaperArtsy Fragile Papers theme inspired you.

I love your artwork so much!
This is absolutely beautiful. The wax is a wonderful addition. Very pretty, Ana!
EXCELLENT piece Ana!
Vse dobro v novem letu.
This is full moon mojo at its very best! Your fish made me think of an ancient fossil and I am fascinated by the sprinkles--eggshells no less. Oh the tedium of pasting them down but so worth it! I also appreciate the lovely finish that wax provides. A wonderful piece (now get some sleep)!
It's beautiful, Ana!
Love the "open space" around the focal point. Great design and texture!
Hugs,

Noro, noro, komaj ti sledim ;)
Krasen efekt. Celotna voščilnica je prav posebna in enkratna!
CAS perfection, love how you have used the fish stamp and added egg shells for texture, exceptional card :-)
Oh Ana, eggshells and pencils and you produce this! No surprise, adore this piece, gorgeous composition and yes I love the space..Ruth x
