Time for November challenge at OCC

Hello friends....Are you ready for November challenge...Lys decided to go "Topsy Turvy" this month....Here is how she described her challenge:

We often try to do the 'right' way, use the suitable thing, organize our creations following definite lines or intentions… and sometimes it doesn’t go the way we wanted to. Sometimes it goes to the bin, sometimes we discover something new… and we love it!

On the right side or topsy turvy… Is there a right side in art?

So let’s play!:  whatever it is: upside down,  inverted, reversed or escaping from the right order…. Please show me one “topsy turvy” creation, and how it came to life in your hands!

I decided to make wall hanging with "Topsy Turvy" background.....

First I glued letters leftovers on a piece of cardboard (also leftover from other project)...then i added few coats of white acrylic paint and left to dry....
I distressed edges with Vintage photo Distress ink and added few splatters of black ink...I glued scraps of paper and lace, then added dry flower which was coloured with purple liquid paint...I used the same paint also for crinkle ribbon....voila...quick and easy project....what you think?

Don’t forget to join us...this month we have gorgeous sponsor, who will make someone happy...

Love your topsy turvy letter background Ana. Beautiful colour palette with that little touch of colour which works so perfectly. I so love lace and ribbons and yet I seem to rarely use them. . . . . gorgeous! Julia xx

A gorgeous hanging Ana and such a great use of those leftover letters (which we all have!) I love the muted tones and that gorgeous splash of purple over the lace. Fabulous! Jennie x

So clever how you've used the letters to create the dimensional background, and I love the bold black accents.
