Box makeover for City Crafter

Ta teden sem dobila priložnost da sodelujem got "guest designer" pri City crafter challenge blog...

Čudovit tim je ta teden izbrak temo Snowbirds - narediti nekaj kar vključuje ptice in sneg. Odločila sem se, da bom zopet malo reciklirala in sem spremenila staro škatlico v darilno....

Najprej sem pobarvala škatlo z Gessom, da se je kasneje akrilna barva bolje prijela....celotno površino sem prekrila s teksturno pasto in kasneje dodala še malo disstres inka, da je tekstura prišla do izraza. Za dekoracijo sem najprej dodala trak in notno črtovjo za osnovo...Vejice sem namazala s teksturno pasto, da sem dobila videz snega in dodala lesne opilke pod izrezek žepne ure...z Utee-jem sem naredila šipek (končni izgled mi je kar všeč) in dodala jajčka narejena z Das maso. Za konec sem dodala še lesene črke in seveda ptička, ki pazi na svoja jačka.....

Lucky me, I got chance to make something as guest designer for City crafter challenge blog...

The fabulous City crafter team have as their challenge theme this week Snowbirds - make a project that include a bird and snow. I decide to alter old chocolate box and make a nice gift box…

I began with painting of box with Gesso, so that the paint I added later stick better to the smooth surface…next I used palette knife and smear texture paste onto the box, this gave a nice look after adding some distress ink. When the box dried, was time for decoration… I began with ribbon and music sheet as a base for the winter scene...I used some twigs coated with texture paste and wood wool under pocket watch die cut...I also made dog rose berries with Utee (I know you can buy them, but not here in Slovenia and I think that final look is pretty good) and clay eggs painted and sprinkled with acrylic paint. I also added some wooden letters, leaves die cuts and of course a birdie who is watching for the eggs...

I have really been enjoying making this box and I wish to thank to the City Crafter Team for allowing me to feature as Guest Designer today.

Januarski izziv pri Country View Challenges je Monochromatic –Enobarven...izziv je ravno pravšnji za mene, saj običajno ne uporabljam veliko barv v mojih kreacijah...zanimivo, da pa zelo rada pogledam in občudujem barvne kreacije drugih....
