Ne morem si pomagat....ja zopet knjigica....Ellie mi je poslala čudovit paketek, v katerem so bili tudi notni papirji in sem jih seveda morala takoj uporabiti....

Tokrat prav posebna objava...naredila sem prav posebno knjigico….. Vsi, ki obiskujete moj blog veste, da mi je všeč pridih starinskega in v takem stilu tudi najraje delam…..In ker običajno dobim tudi zelo dobre odzive na moje izdelke, sem se odločila tole knjigico podariti eni izmed vas. Knjigica je zahvala za vse čudovite komentarje, ki mi polepšajo dan in vlivajo še večjo voljo do ustvarjanja. Hvala!!!

Today, I have a very special post... I made a very special mini book ..... All of you who follow my blog, you know that I like a vintage style and usually my work have vintage touch. I usually get a very good response from you and so I decided to give this mini book to one of you. Mini book is a big thank you for all the wonderful comments that brighten my days (and big thank you because you tolerate my broken English). Thank you!!!!.

Brez pravil / No rules

Ta teden je pri Simon says stamp and show izziv Anything goes - No rules in prav takšen je tudi moj izdelek... nobenih pravil, prosto po Prešernu....kar pač pride pod roke.

This week challenge at Simon says stamp and show is Anything goes - No rules. My »configuration box« is exactly like this – with no rules...I just played around and I am quite pleased with it.

Narejeno iz 2 mm lepenke in najboljšega lepila :), z dosti dobre volje in nekaj natančnosti pri izrezovanju in lepljenju.

I made my box with 2 mm cardboard. When everything was glued together, I painted it with white acrylic paint and Vintage photo distress ink.

Poletni Oddih / Summer Holidays

Zadnje dni je vse povezano s poletjem in dopustom, pa je nastala še ena knjigica Poletni spomini. Knjigica je nadaljevanje oziroma nadgradnja tagca, ki sem ga naredila pred kratkim. Všeč mi je bil kolaž, vintage videz, čipka in juta….vse te stvari so mi zadnje čase ljube…..ali pa že od nekgaj.

Tokrat me je navdušila Sonja in njeni čudoviti izdelki. Sonja za razliko od mene rada  uporablja barve, veliko barv…pa sem poizkusila še jaz....

Ona v Parizu / She in Paris

Tim Holtz me je navdihnil tudi tokrat. Res je moj tagec popolnoma drugačen, ampak tehnike, ki jih je predstavil, sem uporabila tudi sama. Kako se vam zdi?

Inspired by Tim Holtz and his August tag. I used the same techniques as he did, but final product is completely different. Do you like it?

Love book

I am playing again with Frilly and funkie. This challenge is all about four big Renaissance Men- Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael.  I was inspired by Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino and his probably most known angels painting-Sistine Cherubs... it is all about angels, hearts and love in my head. I made a book with heart, it`s suppose to be for some love lyrics and sentiments or ...... Book is also made with cork, like my tag yesterday.

 

Some of you asked how I made cork tag. I made a tutorial , but be aware that this is my first tutorial and my english is….dissaster!!

So lets go:

First randomly stamp on heavy paper - maybe cardboard.

 

Stamp some text on regular paper (or you can use some printed paper). Cut small squares and use distress ink on the edges for a vintage touch. 

 Glue everything together.

Measure and cut cork. For this project I chose to use 4 millimetre thick cork and it`s perfect.

Also cut 2 pieces of blank paper for inside covers. I am a very messy person and I prefer to finish this inside covers at the end. 

 

 

Glue the cork on a blank cover first and then add the front cover. It’s good to put something  heavy on this (a heavy book is perfect) and leave it to dry overnight. The next day the covers will be dry and neat.

  

 

If you wish to make a frame too: cut some cardboard – don’t forget about right angels! Choose an embossing folder for texture and paint it. Leave to dry.  Now add some distress embossing powder and heat. Before you wipe distress embossing powder (to remove the release crystals), add some pearls in powder and heat again.

 I also made some book corners with the same technique, buthere I used grungeboard. 

Embellish your covers, bind it all and…TA DA; you are finished!
